Meet Recap

The Hazelwood West Boys Cross Country team was back in action Saturday in the Stan Nelson Invitational in Cedar Hill.

The varsity team finished 8th out of the teams participating with Andrew Daily earning and individual medal (18th place; 17:43).

The junior varsity (7th place out of 15 teams) also competed at the event and the freshmen race (no team score) finished the day.

As the team prepares for its next race, there will be plenty of positive thoughts because over half of the runners for the Wildcats set personal best times at the event hosted by Northwest (House Springs) High School.

The Wildcats are back in action on September 19 in the Paul Enke Invitational at Sioux Passage Park in North County. The event is hosted by Hazelwood Central. The varsity boys will run at 9:00 am and admission is free.
